Introducing Kyle Sluggers: A New Youth Baseball Community Led by Former Del Valle Head Coach Brad Bohannon
Kyle, TX, December 12, 2024 — Kyle Sluggers, a dynamic new youth baseball community under the leadership of former Del Valle head baseball coach Brad Bohannon, is set to elevate and establish youth sports excellence in Kyle, Texas. The inaugural baseball season will kick off in the spring and will be comprised of an 11u and 13u team.
With a commitment to providing quality coaching and fostering a love for the game, Kyle Sluggers aims to elevate the skills and opportunities for young baseball players in the community. Coach Brad Bohannon, renowned for his expertise and dedication to player development, brings a wealth of experience to the helm of this exciting new venture.
"We are thrilled to launch Kyle Sluggers and offer young athletes in Kyle, and the surrounding areas, a supportive environment to grow their baseball skills," said Coach Brad Bohannon. "Our clinics will focus on fundamentals, sportsmanship, and teamwork, preparing players for success both on and off the field."
Kyle Sluggers will be hosting makeup tryouts scheduled for December 15th at Waterleaf Park from 10 am - 12:00 pm, offering players the opportunity to showcase their skills and join the team.
"We believe in creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere where every player can thrive," added Coach Bohannon. "Kyle Sluggers is more than a team; it's a community dedicated to empowering young athletes and fostering a lifelong passion for baseball."
